Shipped to us as an organic black tea, but we have not yet had it certified by our organic authority. With that said this a bold tasting black tea makes a deeply satisfying hot tea as well as an iced tea.
Black tea is fully oxidized, giving it its dark and unique flavor. Rich in antioxidants and flavonoids which are known to reduce inflammation. Black tea contains caffeine and               L-theanine, an amino acid that promotes relaxation. Seems counter intuitive that black tea, containing caffeine can also be calming. It may help in focusing, alertness and cognitive abilites.
